Soundstage A is a 3,500 square foot soundstage with a 60 foot cyc wall and dedicated audio suite. Fully acoustically insulated and with a comprehensive stock of lighting which can be rigged to your exact requirements on our existing trusses plus a selection of grip equipment, our cyc wall can be painted chroma green, white or indeed any colour you require for your production. Apex height 8.4m.
Soundstage B is a 10,000 square foot soundstage which is fully acoustically insulated behind black out stage curtains. All soundstages have vehicular access for vehicles up to and including articulated lorry via roller shutter and stage doors. The stages are serviced by three phase and single phase power with 63 amp commando and 32 amp terminations, distro board availability and 150kva generator backup to ensure redundancy. With no vertical columns to obscure sight lines and an apex height of 8.4m (approximately 28 feet) and a maximum ridge height of 6.7m (approximately 21 feet), Soundstage B has already hosted feature film, television drama and advertising productions that all required significant set builds. Soundstage C is scheduled for opening on 1st October 2016.
Soundstage C will be 15,000 square foot, fully acoustically insulated behind black out stage curtains. Serviced by 200amp three phase and single phase power with 63 amp commando and 32 amp terminations, distro board availability and 150kva generator backup to ensure redundancy, soundstage C will enable larger or multi set builds in one large space. With no vertical columns to obscure sight lines and an apex height of 8.4m (approximately 28 feet). Rigging grids of Litestructures 290-3 truss can be erected in any location on the stage.
Green Screen D
Located within our main Post Production Studios, Studio D, our smaller green screen suite is a 350 square foot space which is ideal for filming interviews, smaller adverts and casting sessions. We also use this suite for smaller scale filming which we live stream, webcast and undertake various types of corporate projects for our clients. We can provide lighting and grip, and for live streaming we hire cameras which are appropriately scaled for this type of work. Our grip and lighting includes a Vinten Dolphin and low energy lighting from Videoessence, Gekko and Photon. For live streaming we can also provide encoding services. This suite, which is adjacent to our main audio post suite, can be used for larger Foley projects as it is connected via doors to the audio post suite. We offer Casting Directors the facilities to film, edit, encode and stream casting sessions worldwide or even stream in real time to any organisation’s internal network irrespective of location and to any platform.
Post Production Sound
Our main audio studio centres round a 208 input AMS Neve Logic 2 console with the Film Panel option. This gives a monitoring matrix for every 5:1 and 7:1 monitoring combination. Monitoring is handled by The Blue Sky Big Blue 7:1 system and Tannoy, PMC and ATC monitors. There is a voice over booth in the main room and connecting doors to the larger studio next door for larger Foley projects. The studio is fully equipped for ADR and runs Steinberg Nuendo 7 and Avid Protools software. There is a large selection of microphones and outboard and 1080p projection is pushed to a Stewart Cinema screen. Frame accurate sync is handled by Avid SyncHD and additional playback is from a Doremi Post playout system.
